KHYBER - A roadside bomb planted by militants blew up as a paramilitary force patrol was passing in the Khyber ethnic Pashtun tribal region on the Afghan border, killing three soldiers and wounding four, government and paramilitary force officials said. SWAT - A suicide bomber detonated his explosive-laden vehicle when security forces at a checkpost outside Mingora, the main town in the Swat valley, opened fire at him, the military said. There were no reports of casualties. A suicide bomber attempted to attack a checkpoint close to a fuel station in the region, but security forces fired on his vehicle from a distance and it exploded, killing him, said Maj. BAJAUR - A roadside bomb wounded three soldiers in the Bajaur region on the Afghan border, while a bridge was destroyed in a separate bomb blast, government officials said.
