DTN News: Oshkosh Defense HEMTT A4 Selected For Boeing High Energy Laser Technology Demonstrator Program *Source: DTN News / Oshkosh Corporation (NSI News Source Info) OSHKOSH, Wis. - January 07, 2010: Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK), is providing its Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT A4) to The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) as the platform for the U.S. Army’s High Energy Laser Technology Demonstrator (HEL TD) program. Having completed a critical design review, Boeing will now build a rugged beam control system on the widely used Oshkosh tactical wheeled vehicle.

Boeing officials received the HEMTT A4 last month at the Oshkosh headquarters in Wisconsin.
