CONTRACTS

U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

McNeil Technologies, Inc., Springfield, Va., has been awarded a $500,000,000 maximum value, five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity linguist support services contract by U.S. Special Operations Command. The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision/management, and other items and services necessary to provide foreign language interpretation, transcription, reporting, and translation services to support overseas contingency operations. The initial obligation amount is $50,000,000 for the first task order. The contract number is H92222-10-D-0007.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., was awarded a $57,000,000 contract modification which will provide for space vehicle preparation and shipping to the launch site, pre-launch check-out, fueling, weighing, final closeouts, integration with launch vehicle and space vehicle launch. At this time, $6,860,855 has been obligated. MSCW/PKA, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-0002; PO0409).

Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded a $24,800,278 contract which will provide Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport Experimentation Planning and Concept Generation/Development Survivability Analysis. At this time, $224,500 has been obligated. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity (SP0700-03-D-1380; Delivery Order 382).

Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded a $17,999,463 contract which will provide Criminal Investigation Task Force All-Source Intelligence Analysis. At this time, $3,500,000 has been obligated. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity (SP0700-03-D-1380; Delivery Order 375).

Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nev., was awarded a $12,472,304 contract which will provide consoles for integration onto MC-130W aircraft. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. ASC/WISS, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8629-09-C-2445).

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services was awarded a $6,300,788 contract modification which will provide non-personal services to operate, maintain and support the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System and site at Cavalier Air Force Station, N.D. At this time, no funds have been obligated. 21 CONS/LGCZB, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (FA2517-09-C-8000; PO0043).

NAVY

SRI International, Menlo Park, Calif., is being awarded a $22,540,804 firm-fixed-priced contract to provide Flextrain System multi-mission training support to the Army National Guard. This requirement is for the Flextrain System to support the Exportable Combat Training Capability and Mobile Virtual Training Capability for Army National Guard. Flextrain provides multi-level/multi-mission support in a wide variety of training environments. Work will be performed in Menlo Park, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2011. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-10-C-0058).

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $17,903,100 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under previously awarded basic ordering agreement contract (N00024-10-G-4314) to support submarine repair work at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on Los Angeles-class and Virginia-class submarines during on-going availabilities. Ships scheduled to undergo maintenance availabilities repairs include USS Virginia (SSN 774) and USS San Juan (SSN 751). Work will be performed in Portsmouth, N.H., and is expected to be completed by March 2011. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Groton, Conn., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

SmithKlineBeechman, dba GSK, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a maximum $21,337,380 firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for medical supplies. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, and Air Force. There was originally one proposal solicited with one response. The date of performance completion is Dec. 30, 2011. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM2DP-10-C-0001).
