NAVY
Communications and Power Industries, Palo Alto, Calif., is being awarded a $7,920,954 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for traveling wave tubes and associated data. The $7,920,954 is the total dollar amount if the maximum quantities are ordered. The traveling wave tubes are high powered amplifiers for the Ship Missile Decoy Launching System, MK-53 (NULKA). This contract combines purchases for the Navy (94 percent); and the government of Canada (6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Palo Alto, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2016. Contract funds for the first delivery order in the amount of $387,660 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
