CONTRACTS

NAVY

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $408,753,999 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee contract (N00019-09-C-0019) for the full rate production and delivery of nine fiscal 2011 (LOT 35) F/A-18E aircraft in accordance with the aircraft variation in quantity clause. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in December 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ITT Corp., Roanoke, Va., is being awarded a $36,240,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for AN/AVS-9, night vision image intensifier sets. The AN/AVS-9 system is a night vision system consisting of a binocular imaging assembly, a helmet mount, a low profile power pack, a carrying case, and ancillary equipment. The AN/AVS-9 is used by Navy and Marine Corps helicopters as a pilot's visual aid during night operations, low-level, and nape-of-the-earth flight. T his system also provides imagery required for takeoff, landing, and hover as well as en-route flight. Work will be performed in Roanoke, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 2016. Contract funds in the amount of $1,719,720 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-11-D-JQ00).

Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $34,228,615 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0020) for maintenance services in support of the MV-22 AE1107C turboshaft engine. Work will be performed in Oakland, Calif. (70 percent), and Indianapolis, Ind. (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $34,228,615 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lex Products, Corp., Shelton, Conn., is being awarded an $8,104,213 firm-fixed-price call number under blanket purchase agreement for contract M67854-11-A-5087 for the procurement of Mobile Electric Power Distribution System-replacement components in support of the Program Manager, Expeditionary Power Systems. Work will be performed in Shelton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $100,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide technical support for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile. Delivery orders under this basic contract may be firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, or cost-plus-incentive-fee contract types. Air Armament Center/EBJK, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8682-11-D-0155).

Central NICC, JV, LLC, Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a maximum $82,500,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for simplified acquisition of base engineering requirements. The scope of this project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish individual projects under the purview of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. During the contract period, base civil engineering will identify construction tasks and the contracting office will negotiate and issue individual delivery orders to the contractor to complete them. ASC/PKOC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8601-11-D-0009).

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract in the amount of $17,735,991 to extend the capabilities insertion study in the existing Advanced Extremely High Frequency Systems Development and Demonstration Program. This extension includes support for capability/requirements tradeoffs for systems, technology assessments, development of design alternatives, risk assessments, and cost and schedule analysis for development and production of enhancements to be integrated with the current program. ARMY

DRS Tactical Systems, Inc., Melbourne, Fla., was awarded on June 9 an $85,170,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract for the procurement of urgent and bridging quantities for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below Computer Systems. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Fla., with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2012. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-06-D-J405).

Kaeper Machine, Inc., Mentor, Ohio, was awarded on June 9 a $20,887,479 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the procurement of a minimum of 27,000 and a maximum of 70,000 M240 lightweight collapsible buttstock assemblies. Work will be performed in Mentor, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of June 9, 2016. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with eight bids received. Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, was awarded on June 9 a $12,765,268 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for the procurement of a helicopter icing spray system. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 10, 2016. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with four bids received. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Acquisition Center, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (W900KK-11-C-0020).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Maytag Aircraft/TK&K, LLC, Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $11,649,840 for various fuel services to include alongside aircraft refueling bulk storage and distribution, ground fuel delivery, and fuels accounting. Other location of performance is Texas. Using service is Navy. The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2021. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-11-C-5105).

US Foodservice, Livermore, Calif., was issued a modification exercising the second 12-month option period on the current contract SPM300-08-D-3228. Award is a fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum $10,912,047 for full line food distribution. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. The date of performance completion is July 13, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.

US Foodservice Lexington, Lexington, S.C., was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment bridge contract with a maximum $45,000,000 for prime vendor food and beverage support. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
