Alutiiq 3SG, L.L.C., Anchorage, Alaska; Coastal Management Solutions, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va.; Logistics Support, Inc., Washington, D.C.; Quantell, Inc., Grantsville, Md.; Stellar Support Services II, L.L.C., Virginia Beach, Va.; Symtech, Inc., Sarasota, Fla.; Tek Source USA, Inc., Tampa, Fla.; Zenetex, Inc., Herndon, Va., are each being awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts for global business support. The estimated dollar value for this program, including the base period and two option years, for all 24 contracts combined is $730,000,000. Funding will be provided at the task order level. The requirements are segregated into four regions: Area I - Hawaii; Area II - Southwest and Northwest; Area III - Southeast; and Area IV - Mid Atlantic, Midwest, and Washington, D.C. Each region will receive six awards. Requirements within each region will be competed among the contractors within their respective regions. (N00244-11-D-0041); and Tek Source USA, Inc., Tampa, Fla. (N00244-11-D-0042). The contracts are for a wide range of temporary support services that will provide direct labor, supervision, management, and materials, to perform non-personal services as defined in individual task orders. Services will encompass the following 15 functional areas: administrative support and clerical services; quarters management services; healthcare services (excluding doctors, nurses and physician assistants); information and arts; information technology; instructional and training services; maritime material handling; mechanics and maintenance and repair; plant and system operation; engineering/technical support; mobile equipment operation; financial management; specialized technology; industrial services and general services and support. Work will be performed in all 50 states and the territory of Puerto Rico, with the majority of the effort in the following states: California (31.22 percent); Texas (17.14 percent); Virginia (9.73 percent); Florida (8.63 percent); Hawaii (6.5 percent); and distributed between the remaining states and Puerto Rico (26.78 percent). Work is expected to be completed in August 2012. With options exercised, the completion date could continue until August 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $1,200,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contracts were competitively procured via the World Wide Web, with 57 offers received in response to the 100 percent small business set aside solicitation. The Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, Regional Contracts Department, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.
Logos Technologies, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $7,807,161 modification (P00023) to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00014-08-C-0302) for the lightweight expeditionary airborne persistent surveillance overseas contingency operations. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed in November 2012. This modification will be incrementally funded with this initial obligation of $1,145,575, which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured under BAA 11-001. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
ARMY
Science Applications International Corp., Inc., McLean, Va., was awarded a $222,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for the efforts in developing the common virtual environment that facilitates fair fight interoperability for virtual system and non-system training aids, simulators and simulations. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., with an estimated completion date of August 2016. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with two bids received. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office, Training and Instrumentation Acquisition Center, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (W900KK-11-D-0006).
FedServices, Inc., Hinesville, Ga., was awarded a $31,868,681 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the support services to the Directorate of Logistics at Fort Riley, Kan. Work will be performed in Fort Riley, Kan., with an estimated completion date of September 2014. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with eight bids received. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is the contracting activity (W9124J-11-C-0022).
Kjaer Group US Liaison Office, Inc., Arlington, Va., was awarded a $24,848,144 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the procurement of a maximum of 840 Ford Everest 2009 or later model sport utility vehicles and spare parts for Iraq and Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Bangkok, Thailand, with an estimated completion date of August 2014. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 12 bids received. Capitol I.T. Solutions, Inc., Germantown, Md., was awarded a $14,153,849 commercial-services contract. The award will provide for the non-personal services to support the research and technical programs at Fort Detrick, Md. Work will be performed in Fort Detrick, Md., with an estimated completion date of August 2016. Eight bids were solicited, with four bids received. Iron Bow Technology, Chantilly, Va., was awarded a $13,637,988 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the procurement of 5,096 Lenovo tablets; 217 Lenovo think pads; 520 Lenovo think centre; 261 Fujitsu computers; and 40 Wyse computers. Work will be performed in Chantilly, Va., with an estimated completion date of November 2011. Seven bids were solicited, with two bids received. Materials Sciences Corp., Horsham, Pa., was awarded a $9,127,004 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for the development of multifunctional polymers to achieve the goals of lightweight, high-performance and insensitive munitions compliant missile systems and aviation structures for the U.S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Command Research, Development and Engineering Center. Work location will be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of August 2016. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. Columbia University Medical Center-Sponsored Projects Administration, New York, N.Y., was awarded a $7,999,519 cost-type contract. The award will provide for the characterization of unknown strains of pathogens, establishment of sample repositories, identification and procurement of novel samples, and identification and filling of gaps in pertinent biological databases. Work will be performed in New York, N.Y., and Edgewood, Md., with an estimated completion date of August 2013. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. Dell Federal Systems, L.P., Round Rock, Texas, was awarded a $7,456,226 firm-fixed-price contract. T he award will provide for the procurement of 354 Latitude E6520 computers and 6,295 Dell OptiPlex small form factor computers. Work will be performed in Round Rock, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 25, 2011. Seven bids were solicited, with two bids received. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Burlington Apparel Fabrics, Greensboro, N.C., was issued a modification exercising the third option year on the current contract SPM1C1-09-D-0045/P00016. Award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for a maximum $38,873,400 for Army service uniforms. Other locations of performance are in Raeford, N.C., and Cordova, N.C. Using service is Army. The date of performance completion is August 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
U.S. Foodservice, Inc., Las Vegas, Nev., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, prime vendor contract with a maximum $11,550,000 for full line food distribution. Other location of performance is New Mexico. Using services are Army, Air Force, and Department of Energy. The date of performance completion is June 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-11-D-3494).
BRS Aerospace*, South St. Paul, Minn., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $7,797,339 for low velocity parachutes. The revised award quantity contract is based on urgent and compelling requirements in direct support of operations in Afghanistan. Other locations of performance are Florida and North Carolina. Using service is Army. The date of performance completion is Dec. 26, 2011. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SPM4A7-11-C-0595).
AIR FORCE
BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $7,496,904 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and fixed-price-incentive-fee contract for the Instrumentation Radar Support Program that provides engineering, logistics, and maintenance support for various instrumentation ranges belonging to 24 ranges (foreign and domestic).
