CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
The Boeing Co., Saint Louis, Mo., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, long-term, sole-source contract with a maximum $30,050,000 for F/A-18 inner wing assemblies. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Navy. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Navy Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is February 2014. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0400-03-D-9408 TH04).
Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract with a maximum $9,173,977 for wheel and tire assemblies. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Defense Logistics Agency. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through fiscal 2014 Army Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is Feb. 21, 2015. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (SPRDL1-12-D-0022).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin Corp., Archbald, Pa., is being awarded a $28,415,260 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0092) to exercise an option for the procurement of 10,273 enhanced laser guided training round for the Navy (10,033) and the government of Spain (240). Work will be performed in Archbald, Pa., and is expected to be completed in February 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($27,737,800; 97.6 percent) and, under the Foreign Military Sales Program, the government of Spain ($677,460; 2.4 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $21,228,947 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-5122) to exercise options for fiscal 2012 Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) platform systems engineering agent efforts. The purpose of this modification is to fund continuation of SSDS MK 2 development and test for the future USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and SSDS MK1 technology refresh efforts. Ship Self Defense Systems provides ship self defense capabilities against anti-ship cruise missile attack for aircraft carriers and selected amphibious ships by integrating existing and programmed anti-air warfare stand-alone defensive systems and providing an automated quick response and multi-target engagement capability emphasizing performance in the littoral environment. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (90 percent), Tewksbury, Mass (5 percent), and Portsmouth, R.I. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $20,521,388 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-07-D-0004) for special progressive aircraft rework of two VH-3D and one VH-60N executive helicopters, including vendor repairables and component overhaul. Funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders as they are issued. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in September 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
BAE Systems IESI, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $9,243,005 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of five OE-120(A) antenna groups for the Navy. The OE-120A antenna group is a component of the AN/UPX-29(V) Interrogator System. The OE-120(A) Antenna System is procured for use on CG 47, DDG 51, LHD 1, LPD 17, CV(N), and FMS DD 173 class ships and several land based test sites. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in June 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-12-C-0010).
AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Space Technology, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $13,557,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract to procure sustainment for the Minute Man Missile System incremental funding for exercised option. The location of the performances is Clearfield, Utah. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2012. AFNWC/PKME, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).
ITT Systems Corp., Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a $8,502,772 cost-plus-award-fee and cost reimbursable contract for Space Lift Range System contract support for increased interim supply support spares to support the eastern and western ranges in case of equipment malfunction or failure. The location of the performances is Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., and Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2012. Space and Missile Systems Center, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity (F04701-01-C-0001 P00808).
