CONTRACTS
AIR FORCE
Kelly Aviation Center, LP, San Antonio, Texas, has been awarded a $325,835,698 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contractual action for T56 engine overhaul and repair. Contractor will provide depot level overhaul and repair of the T56 engine and component parts. Work will be performed at San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 5, 2017. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $30,521,404 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8124-15-D-0002).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Honeywell International, Inc., Tempe, Arizona, has been awarded a maximum $67,001,544 modification (P00530) extending the base contract SPM740-01-D-9711 for an additional 15 months for consumable and depot level reparable spare parts for multiple aircraft weapons systems. This is a firm-fixed-price requirements contract. Locations of performance are Arizona, North Carolina, California, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and New Mexico, with a Feb. 6, 2016, performance completion date. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2015 through fiscal 2016 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia.
Biomet 31, LLC., Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has been awarded a maximum $27,774,800 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract for medical items and accessories. This contract was a competitive acquisition and 58 offers were received. This is a five-year base contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Florida, with a Nov. 4, 2020, performance completion date. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2015 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2DH-15-D-0003).
Cottonwood Incorporated, Lawrence, Kansas, has been awarded a maximum $8,545,500 firm-fixed-price, long-term, delivery-order type contract for aircraft tie-down cargo straps. This contract was a sole-source acquisition. This is a one-year base contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Kansas, with a Nov. 3, 2015, performance completion date. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Defense Logistics Agency Aviation. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2015 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia (SPE4A7-15-D-0036).
UPDATE: Atlantic Diving Supply Incorporated, doing business as ADS Inc.,* Virginia Beach, Virginia (SPE8EC-15-D-0001), has been added as an awardee to the multiple award contract issued against solicitation SPM8EC-11-R-0003. (SPM8EC-11-R-0003 was originally awarded Aug. 4, 2011.)
CORRECTION: The contract announced on October 30, 2014, for Bremen-Bowdon Investments,* Bowdon, Georgia (SPM1C1-10-D-1090/P00106), for $13,033,800, was announced with an incorrect award date. The correct award date is November 3, 2014.
NAVY
Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $58,054,000 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price incentive contract (N00019-13-C-0023) for the long lead materials for the manufacture and delivery of 13 Lot 13 UH-1Y Build New Aircraft and 14 Lot 13 AH-1Z Build New Aircraft for the U. S. Marine Corps. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (60 percent), and Amarillo, Texas (40 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2016. Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $58,054,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
The Boeing Co., Jacksonville, Florida, is being awarded a $25,313,512 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-14-D-0001) for depot-level service life extension and remanufacturing activities, including associated maintenance support and sustainment capabilities, for the F/A-18A-D aircraft. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida (91.7 percent), and St. Louis, Missouri (8.3 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2015. No funds are being obligated at time of award; funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders as they are issued. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

ARMY
Western Marine Construction, Seattle, Washington, was awarded a $21,705,515 firm-fixed-price contract, with options, for improvements to the Valdez harbor. Work will be performed in Valdez, Alaska, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2017. Bids were solicited via the Internet, with six received. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) and other procurement funds in the amount of $21,705,515 are being obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, is the contracting activity (W911KB-15-C-0004).
