(NSI News Source Info) MOSCOW, Russia - July 17, 2009: June, 11, 2009 test flight on territory of Russia by easy multi-purpose helicopters ANSAT of development of JSC Kazan helicopter plant and Ка-226 development of Open Society Kamov, begun in May, 12 this year was finished. The customer of helicopters - the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation - thus has decided to test them in various climatic zones. Both helicopters with take-off weight up to 3,5 ton, about 9 passengers are capable to transport, meet the requirements of the customer as, in comparison with legendary "eight" (Мi-8/17), are more economic for transportation of a small amount of passengers and a cargo.
The route of flight began from Ioshkar Ola, wherefrom helicopters have started to Moscow where ANSAT has had time to participate in a helicopter exhibition "HeliRussia-2009", having landed directly in territory of expocentre Crocus Expo.
Further helicopters have flown to Makhachkala, and then to Stavropol, wherefrom have returned to Ioshkar Ola. General extent of a route of flights has made about 6000 kms. On intermediate bases both helicopters on several days ran in mountain conditions and on plains where weather conditions cardinally differ. Only so it was possible to confirm and specify operational characteristics of new helicopter ANSAT.
From the Kazan helicopter plant flights the group technical and flying accompanied with supports: conducting engineer Hasanzjanov Azat Anvarovich, the pilot - verifier Moiseev Arcady Konstantinovich, the engineer Gimatov Vazih Gazizovich, the aircraft technicians Sulejmanov Ajrat Marsovich and Ishakov Il'shat Il'jasovich, and the mechanic Zaharov Andrey Borisovich.Extensive "the technical first-aid set" expert command appeared superfluous, and for all time of a way it was not necessary to take advantage of it never.
On results of tests helicopter ANSAT has shown excellent results of flights in mountains: it has confirmed the characteristics of the charge of fuel, average range of flight with standard refuelling, reliability CCS (a complex control system), sat and flied up at heights 2800 - 3000 m.
All time of flight ANSAT was piloted by two skilled pilots of public service.
The machine has liked both. They have noted its good maneuverability caused in rather small take-off weight, presence of two powerful engines and "rigid" rubber- plastic cartridges of bearing screw. In their opinion, the convenient control panel and a comfortable cabin of pilots are executed in view of modern ergonomic requirements. Both pilots also highly have estimated reliability of a digital electro remote control system and system of the electronic indication executed by a principle "glass cabin", without uniform pointer device.
ANSAT has effectively shown changes and a maneuverability during demonstration flights for federal services and the president of republic Dagestan. The helicopter has liked representatives of republic, some of them have expressed desire to get ANSAT.
June, 1 onboard the helicopter has made flight the president of republic Dagestan Muhu Aliev, which also has remained it is pleased with helicopter. Experts of boundary service of Russia ANSAT was as highly it is appreciated in one of demonstration flights in Caspian sea - during prosecution of poachers. The boat leaves from ANSAT could not, and the crew of the helicopter has quickly made a circle above pursued and has compelled them to stop.
In the helicopters similar ANSAT, the Russian frontier guards and aviation structures of Russia for a long time require: by this machine it is easy to carry out the control of gas mains to conduct supervision over large forests, to patrol borders and roads. Average operation of helicopter ANSAT provides transportation of 2-3 passengers.
But at service necessity transportation of group of passengers up to 10 person or cargoes up to 1 ton is possible. And the economy under the charge of fuel, by calculations of the expert of one Russia from public services, reaches 140 thousand liters per one year, in comparison with Ми-8 (at weekly use in this service on 2 flights with a raid 2-2,5 hours).
