DTN News: Medical Science TODAY August 29, 2009 ~ Tick Saliva Could Hold Cancer Cure By Brazilian Scientists

DTN News: Medical Science TODAY August 29, 2009 ~ Tick Saliva Could Hold Cancer Cure By Brazilian Scientists
*Source: DTN News / Int'l Media (NSI News Source Info) SAO PAULO, Brazil - August 29, 2009: It may be one of nature's repulsive little blood-sucking parasites, but the humble tick could yield a future cure for cancers of the skin, liver and pancreas, Brazilian researchers have discovered. View of an Amblyomma cajennense. Brazilian reasearchers have identified a protein in the saliva of the South American tick that apparently reduces and can even eradicate cancerous cells while leaving healthy cells alone. They have identified a protein in the saliva of a common South American tick, Amblyomma cajennense, that apparently reduces and can even eradicate cancerous cells while leaving healthy cells alone. "This is a radical innovation," said Ana Marisa Chudzinski-Tavassi, the molecular biologist at the Instituto Butantan in Sao Paulo who is leading the research. "The component of the saliva of this tick... could be the cure for cancer," she told AFP. She said she stumbled on the properties of the protein, called Factor X active, while testing the anti-coagulant properties of the tick's saliva -- the way it stops blood thickening and clotting so the tick can keep gorging itself on its host. The protein shares some characteristics with a common anti-coagulant called TFPI (Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor), specifically a Kunitz-type inhibitor which also has been shown to interfere with cell growth. A theory that the protein might have an effect on cancerous cells led to laboratory tests on cell cultures -- which exceeded all expectations. "To our surprise it didn't kill normal cells, which were also tested," Chudzinski-Tavassi said. "But it did kill the tumorous cells that were being analyzed." In her modest lab in the institute, housed in a rundown building, a line of immobile bloated ticks could be seen lined up with straws under their heads. The small amounts of saliva captured that way was reproduced many times over in yeast vats so that tests could be carried out on lab rats with cancer. The results have been more than promising. "If I treat every day for 14 days an animal's tumor, a small tumor, this tumor doesn't develop -- it even regresses. The tumor mass shrinks. If I treat for 42 days, you totally eliminate the tumor," the scientist said. Producing a medicine from the find, though, will require years of clinical tests and a significant financial investment -- neither of which Brazil is geared to provide. Chudzinski-Tavassi has applied for a patent on the tick protein, and is presenting her team's discovery in medical journals and conferences around the world. But she says moving beyond her lab "proof of concept" will be frustratingly difficult. "To discover this is one thing. To turn it into a medicine is a whole other thing entirely," she said.

(NSI News Source Info) May 22, 2009: The miracle doctor is Ashot Khachatryan Papikovicha, he is very kind, gentle and humble also known as 'Professor K' or 'Professor DaDa' (In Russian Da means Yes) . The Professor K is very confident on his formula curing every possible human disease and repeats Da....Da!
Seen in aforementioned photo, Dr. Ashot Khachatryan with Dr. Koh at seminar on K-EFFECT PROTOCOL held recently at Island Country Club., Singapore. Dr. Koh is operating under INNERGLOW MD Singapore and associate with K-EFFECT PROTOCOL in the territory.
The New Theory of Causes of The Cancer and Others Chronic Diseases. Today there are many theories explaining the cause of a cancer and others chronic illness, which ultimately boil down to hereditary factors, and thereby predetermine its incurability.
Professor Khachatrian, based on many years of experience in treating patients with various diseases (more than 40 000), first proposed to explain the cause of many chronic diseases by the free radical theory, and the method of treatment, which in more than 100% of the cases leads to an improvement and in more than 90% - to the full cure of many chronic, currently considered incurable, diseases (cancer, allergies, bronchial asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, eczema psoriasis, autism, parkinsonism, etc.)
The essence of the theory is following: under the influence of harmful factors (poor environment, the uncontrolled use of medicine, food, stuffed with preservatives, hormones, dyes, flavorings, radiation and ionizing radiation (computers, cellular phones), smoking, alcohol, etc., free radicals form in the human body - substances that have an unpaired electron in an outer shell.
For their neutralization, they need to join another electron.
All the cells in the human body are powered by batteries, a charge which is averages at -70 mV. So, each cell has 70 free electrons. Every minute our cells are attacked by more than 100000 free radicals, trying to take away their electrons.
Losing an electron, the charge of the cells drops, they start malfunctioning, which leads to the disturbance of metabolism. When the ORP (oxidation reduction potential) drops to the level of -50mV, it facilitates the initialization of various chronic inflammatory diseases, and the ORP level at -30 mV or more may lead to the development of malignant processes. Inflammation or cancer cells on their turn also produce toxins (free radicals).
On the other hand, free radicals have a negative effect on the intestinal micro flora by killing the good flora, which plays a huge role in the normal human life. They participate in the processes of metabolism, synthesis and sharing of vitamins, the formation and maintenance of the immune system, regulate peristalsis of colon , etc. There the disbiosis takes place , ie disturbance of the balance of the intestinal micro flora towards of the increase of bad bacteria. Breached metabolism leads to constipations. They also form poisons and toxins (free radicals). The immune system weakens, the body easily penetrate parasites, viruses, worms, which also produce toxins.Formed in the body endogenous free radicals, indirectly increase the disbiosis and reduce the potential of the cells.
Thus, the free radicals start to circulate in a vicious circle. Professor Khachatrian developed a unique technique that allows to neutralize free radicals, to break the toxic circle and to release the body from parasites, restore intestinal micro flora and, most importantly, to restore the viability of cells.
The method is patented in Russia and the United States and helped to heal the sick with a variety of serious chronic diseases.

THE SECRET OF SYNDROME OF CHRONIC FATIGUE IS SOLVED

THE SECRET OF SYNDROME OF CHRONIC FATIGUE IS SOLVED - The Russian Miracle And Magnificent Doctor Is Absolutely Stunning, Who Cures Every Disease With Own Formula: Part # 4 (Chronic Fatigue)
*DTN News will up-date on weekly basis info on the Russian miracle and magnificent doctor respectively. This is an exclusive story of DTN Defense-Technology News
(NSI News Source Info) SINGAPORE - May 14, 2009: The miracle doctor is Ashot Khachatryan Papikovicha, he is very kind, gentle and humble also known as 'Professor K' or 'Professor DaDa' (In Russian Da means Yes) . The Professor K is very confident on his formula curing every possible human disease and repeats Da....Da!
Dr. Ashot Khachatryan recently enjoyed gourmet Indian cusine with friends in Singapore. Seen in the above aforementioned picture from left to right are Bob Seth, Dr. Koh and Dr. Ashot Khachatryan
The secret of syndrome of chronic fatigue is solved by Dr. Ashot Khachatryan
There are three basic hypotheses of occurrence of syndrome of chronic fatigue : under influence of infections; owing to immunodeficiency; as a result of poisoning of an organism by neurotoxin. However, any of these hypotheses separately has not found no scientific, not clinical confirmation.
Under direction of professor Khachatryan it is surveyed 120 sick persons - 70 percent of them were woman in the age of 28-45 years, leading active life.
Diagnosis "syndrome of chronic fatigue" was given at presence of complex of symptoms (not less than 8): constant fatigue, sleeplessness, pains in muscles, headaches, bad appetite, subfibrile temperature, a diarrhea or constipation.
The general and clinical analysis of blood, the bacteriological analysis of feces was carried out. At all the patients the infringements of balance of the intestinal microflora, essential reduction or absence of normal microflora of large intestine were revealed.
In 10 percent of cases the growth of yeast fungus was observed, at 20 percent of patients - the growth of pathogenic microflora was marked. The precise interrelation between the gravity of disbalance of intestinal microflora and clinical characteristics of syndrome of chronic fatigue was marked.
The immunogram has revealed the various infringements of immune system. During the common analysis of blood at 45 percent of patients the low level of hemoglobin - 70-100mg/ml was marked.
The treatment of patients was carried out by us in compliance with the methods being patented in Russian and in USA ( Pat. of RF No.2110071, 1998; US Patent No. 6,428,783, 2002): the specially prepared bacterial flora consisting of mix of Escherichia coli of Bifidum - and Lactoflora in log-phase of its growth was implanted into the large intestine after its processing by solutions of electroactivated mineral water.
As the additional treatment-and-prophylactic means the liquid concentrate on the base of Lactobacillus acidophilus was widely used. The restoration of balance of intestinal microflora during two weeks have allowed to return all the patients to normal life.
Potential central nervous system pathways to chronic fatigue syndrome.
Marked was the normalization of immunogram and hemoglobin of blood. Thus, for the first time it is established that the principal cause of syndrome of chronic fatigue is the disbalance of the intestinal microflora, resulting to immunodeficiency, infringement of metabolism, suction of products of an incomplete metabolism in blood, endogenic intoxications of the organism.

DTN News: Medical TODAY May 11, 2009 - Home Light Therapy Psoriasis Hope

DTN News: Medical TODAY May 11, 2009 - Home Light Therapy Psoriasis Hope
(NSI News Source Info) LONDON - May 11, 2009: A specialist light treatment for psoriasis is just as effective and safe when given at home as in hospital, say Dutch researchers. Phototherapy using UVB light is rarely used in the UK because of limited availability and the number of hospital visits required. But a study of 200 patients found the same results with home treatment. One UK expert said the British Medical Journal study highlighted an important treatment gap in psoriasis care. Psoriasis is a common disorder caused by too rapid production of new skin cells, causing red scaly patches. In my area there are very large numbers of people who don't have access to phototherapy which is a shame as it's a very effective and safe treatment Professor Alex Anstey, Royal Gwent Hospital, Wales Up to 3% of the UK population is affected by the non-contagious condition which can cause significant disability. For those who have access to UVB treatment at their local dermatology unit, a course usually entails three visits each week for between eight to 10 weeks. It works by dampening down the immune overreaction in the skin. One reason that the treatment is usually done in hospital is because most dermatologists believe that home phototherapy is inferior and that it carries more risks. In the latest study, patients with psoriasis from 14 hospital dermatology departments were randomly assigned to receive either home UVB phototherapy or hospital-based treatment. Home treatment was equivalent to hospital therapy both in terms of safety and the effectiveness of clearing the condition. And those treated at home reported a significantly lower burden of treatment and were more satisfied. Equal treatments Study leader Dr Mayke Koek, from Utrecht University Medical Centre, said: "We knew a lot of dermatologists are not convinced of the safety and effectiveness of UVB phototherapy but our theory was they should be equally safe." "One of the most important findings was a lot of patients treated at home were more satisfied." Professor Alex Anstey from the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, Wales, said with the exception of Scotland, phototherapy in the UK was limited to people who lived near a big hospital. "In my area there are very large numbers of people who don't have access to phototherapy which is a shame as it's a very effective and safe treatment." He said that the equipment - similar to a tanning bed, but a different type of light - costs between £5,000 and £10,000 but was very cheap compared with some of the new biological therapies in use and could be lent to patients for the duration of their treatment. Gladys Edwards, chief executive of the Psoriasis Association, said the guidelines on treating psoriasis should be reviewed in light of the new research. "Patient choice is important and for some patients managing their UV treatment at home would clearly be preferable. "It is crucial, however, that there is absolutely clear guidance and information on when this is appropriate and how it should be managed for patients and clinicians."

DTN News: Medical TODAY May 6, 2009 - Sub: Exosome Complex

DTN News: Medical TODAY May 6, 2009 - Sub: Exosome Complex
(NSI News Source Info) May 6, 2009: The exosome complex (or PM/Scl complex, often just called the exosome) is a multi-protein complex capable of degrading various types of RNA (ribonucleic acid) molecules. Exosome complexes can be found in both eukaryotic cells and archaea, while in bacteria a simpler complex called the degradosome carries out similar functions. The core of the complex has a six-membered ring structure, to which other proteins are attached. In eukaryotic cells, the complex is present in the cytoplasm, nucleus and especially the nucleolus, although different proteins interact with the complex in these compartments, in order to regulate the RNA degradation activity of the complex to substrates specific for these cell compartments.
Substrates of the exosome include messenger RNA, ribosomal RNA, and many species of small RNAs. The exosome has an exoribonucleolytic function, meaning it degrades RNA starting at one side (the so-called 3′ end this case), rather than cleaving the RNA at specific sites. Although no causative relation between the complex and any disease is known, several proteins in the complex are the target of autoantibodies in patients with specific autoimmune diseases (especially the PM/Scl overlap syndrome) and some antimetabolitic chemotherapies for cancer function by blocking the activity of the complex.
