(NSI News Source Info) MUMBAI, India - July 1, 2009: India on June 30, 2009 Tuesday opened its first regional unit for specialist anti-terror troops, after widespread criticism of the slow response to last year's deadly Mumbai attacks. The new hub for some 250 NSG commandos in Mumbai is the first of four to open across India. After 2008 attacks in Mumbai, four NSG regional hubs are set up in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad to quickly and effectively respond to terror attacks in these cities and the nearby regions.
