The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, a field activity of Military Sealift Command, is the contracting activity (N40442-10-C-1007). ~Metro Machine, Portsmouth, Va., is being awarded a $6,234,201 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-4401) for the maintenance and repair of USS Ponce (LPD-15). Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2010. Contract funds in the amount of $6,234,201 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
