NAVY

Chugach World Services, Inc.*, Anchorage, Alaska (N40192-10-D-2805); DF, JV*, Dededo, Guam (N40192-10-D-2806); Fargo Pacific, Inc.*, Hagatna, Guam (N40192-10-D-2807); Guam Pacific International, LLC*, Barrigada, Guam (N40192-10-D-2808); GSI-ASI, JV, LLC*, Honolulu, Hawaii (N40192-10-D-2809); and Techni-Con, Inc.*, Tamuning, Guam (N40192-10-D-2811), are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award construction contract (MACC) for renovation/modernization and routine repair/maintenance of government shore-based facilities on Guam and Northern Mariana Islands. The maximum dollar value, including the base period and four option years, for all six contracts combined is $100,000,000. Techni-Con, Inc., is being awarded task order #0001 at $188,141 for the construction and improvement of the existing Navy Exchange Autoport/Furniture Store parking lot, Naval Base, Guam. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by January 2011. Work on this contract will be performed on Guam and at federal military facilities and installations in the Northern Mariana Islands (Guam, 95 percent; others, 5 percent). The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of August 2015. Contract funds in the amount of $188,141 for task order #0001 will expire at the end the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 21 proposals received. These six MACC contractors will compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas, Guam, is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $45,251,611 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee multiple award contract for engineering support services including SUBSAFE and LEVEL 1 support services for submarines and surface ships. Efforts will include: systems engineering; technical analyses; mechanical and electrical design; manufacturing; installation; test and evaluation; and repair, including services in the field and the response to any emergent field repairs, to support existing and future fleet systems programs. Support will be provided on torpedo tube systems; torpedo ejection systems; internal and external launcher systems; cargo handling systems; special purpose and shipboard test equipment; and high speed launchings. This includes auxiliary and anti-submarine warfare countermeasure launchers, and associated launch control panels, as well as other ship systems. This tasking is also to support the documentation and repair of the 688 Class Submarine Vertical Launch System. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by August 2015. Contract funds in the amount of $20,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with three offers received. Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $42,418,804 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee multiple award contract for engineering support services including SUBSAFE and LEVEL 1 support services for submarines and surface ships. Efforts will include: systems engineering; technical analyses; mechanical and electrical design; manufacturing; installation; test and evaluation; and repair, including services in the field and the response to any emergent field repairs, to support existing and future fleet systems programs. Efforts will include: systems engineering; technical analyses; mechanical and electrical design; manufacturing; installation; test and evaluation; and repair, including services in the field and the response to any emergent field repairs, to support existing and future fleet systems programs. Support will be provided on torpedo tube systems; torpedo ejection systems; internal and external launcher systems; cargo handling systems; special purpose and shipboard test equipment; and high speed launchings. Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $12,907,949 modification to the previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-08-C-0028) for the procurement of one Marine Corps Short Take-off and Vertical Landing Joint Strike Fighter Full Mission Simulator trainer for the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Ariz. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (98 percent), and Fort Worth, Texas (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in November 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded an $8,002,064 order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-07-G-0016) for the design, development, manufacturing and installation of Internet protocol and bandwidth expansion Phase 3 modification kit for the E-6B. Work will be performed in Waco, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $3,373,326 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

BP Energy Co., Houston, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $29,581,268 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for delivery of direct supply natural gas. Other locations of performance are Alabama, California, Florida and New Mexico. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force and federal civilian agencies. The original proposal was Web-solicited with 29 responses. The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-10-D-7517).
