(NSI News Source Info) WASHINGTON - December 1, 2010: U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) Contracts issued November 30, 2010 are undermentioned;

CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va. (FA8771-11-D1000); CACI Enterprise Solutions, Inc., Chantilly, Va. (FA8771-11-D1001); Deloitte Consulting, Alexandria, Va. (FA8771-11-D1002); Dynamics Research Corp., Andover, Mass. (FA8771-11-D1003); Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va. (FA8771-11-D1004); and Tech Team Government Solution, Inc., Chantilly, Va. (FA8771-11-D1005), were awarded a contract worth $460,000,000. This contract will provide for enterprise-level engineering integration and service management support worldwide for Air Force customers. At this time, $15,000 has been obligated to each company. AF PEO/HIJK, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity.

The Boeing Co., Wichita, Kan., was awarded a $134,000,000 contract modification which will provide for the 2011 heavy maintenance effort scheduled to be accomplished on VC-25 tail number 92-9000. The special air mission aircraft provides air transportation for the president and is one of two assigned to the 89th Air Wing, Andrews Air Force Base, Md. At this time, $19,398,467 has been obligated. 727 ACSG/PKB, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8106-09-C-0005; P00020).

Northrop Grumman Information Systems, San Diego, Calif., was awarded a $34,124,505 contract modification which will provide for an extension on the maintenance and support of the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node payload in support of overseas contingency operations. At this time, $10,000,000 has been obligated. ESC/Airborne Networks Division, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (FA8726-09-C-0010; P00020).

Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., was awarded a $23,257,000 contract which will provide for the HC/MC 130J weapon systems trainer. At this time, $2,044,798 has been obligated. ASC/WNSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8621-06-C-6300).

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, Calif., was awarded a $18,072,110 contract modification which will provide for contractor logistics support for the Italian Air Force MQ-9 Reaper program including all logistics necessary to support the Italian Air Force main operating base and possibly a forward operating base. At this time, $5,412,518 has been obligated. ASC/WIIK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-10-G-3038).

The Boeing Co., Newark, Ohio, was awarded an $11,084,230 contract which will provide Minuteman III guidance repair. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. OO-ALC/AFNWC/PKME, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-99-D-0006).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., was awarded a $7,969,595 contract which will provide sustaining engineering efforts on systems, structures, products or materials required to resolve technical or supportability efficiency, and technical order sustainment, on the C-5 aircraft. At this time, no money has been obligated. WR-ALC/GRSKA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8525-11-D-0003).

Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded a $7,118,000 contract modification which will provide for procurement of a transportable remote tracking station block chance core electronics configured item fan. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. SMC/PKT, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-D-0006).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $43,739,721 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-2203) for lifecycle engineering and support services for LPD 17 class integrated shipboard electronic systems. The following services will be provided: post-delivery planning, logistics and engineering, homeport technical support, integrated product data environment, data maintenance, equipment management, systems integration and design engineering, software support, research engineering, obsolescence management (both technical and logistics), material readiness support, emergent repair planning, training and logistics support; planning yard support of integrated electronic systems, including fleet modernization program planning, ship alteration development and installation, material management, configuration data management, research engineering, logistics documentation, and other logistics and executing activity coordination, and management; performance-based logistics support, including providing sustaining engineering and obsolescence management support for unique LPD 17-class integrated shipboard electronic systems. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by December 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $109,947 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $37,988,628 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-2205) for lifecycle engineering and support services for LPD 17 class integrated shipboard electronic systems. The following services will be provided: post-delivery planning, logistics and engineering, homeport technical support, integrated product data environment, data maintenance, equipment management, systems integration and design engineering, software support, research engineering, obsolescence management (both technical and logistics), material readiness support, emergent repair planning, training and logistics support; planning yard support of integrated electronic systems, including fleet modernization program planning, ship alteration development and installation, material management, configuration data management, research engineering, logistics documentation, and other logistics and executing activity coordination, and management; performance-based logistics support, including providing sustaining engineering and obsolescence management support. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (98 percent), and Norfolk, Va. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $1,134,760 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

BREMCOR, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $20,598,102 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N62470-06-D-4611) to exercise option four for base operation support services at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of base facilities, environmental, transportation and fire alarm systems. The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $94,018,128. Work will be performed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expected to be completed by November 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $16,954,592 ceiling priced order #0001 under a previously awarded contract (N00383-10-G-005H) for repair of the AN/APG-79 radar in support of the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed in Forest, Miss., and is expected to be completed by June 2012. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.

URS Federal Technical Services, Germantown, Md., is being awarded a $13,808,669 cost-plus-fixed fee contract to provide professional support services in support of submarine towed array systems, associated component systems and hull sensor systems. This contract will include services in the areas of program analysis, development, control and monitoring, administration, communication, human resources, business, finance, cost estimating, technical and engineering support, information technology, and lifecycle support. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by January 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $300,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-11-C-6282).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Golden Manufacturing Co., Inc.*, Golden, Miss., is being awarded a maximum $8,289,210 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity, total set-aside contract for Navy task force working utility uniform. Other locations of performance are throughout Mississippi. Using service is Navy. The original proposal was Web-solicited with 17 responses. This contract is exercising the third option year. The date of performance completion is Dec. 3, 2011. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM1C1-08-D-1030).
